Ever since installing Windows 8 I have experienced a repeated bug with TextAloud. Both while reading text within its programme and within Microsoft Word 2010, the reading will come to an abrupt halt, with the sound of a gramophone needle scraping across the record. The only way to restart TextAloud is to close the program using task manager because it has become non-responsive. If this bug has happened within Microsoft Word, rebooting Microsoft Word is required to get TextAloud plug-in functionality working within Word again. I have never experienced this bug before installing Windows 8. I use AT&T Audrey 16 K UK English voice, and have successfully done so for years. I don't think that this bug is related to the interaction between TextAloud and this voice. Am I the only person out there suffering these bugs with TextAloud running under Windows 8?
