Mouse Watch and Adobe Reader X

The 'mouse watch' function is valuable for reading selected text in complicated documents with graphs and diagrams. The function works in most cases but seems to fail with PDF documents viewed with Adobe Reader 10. The alternative Foxit Reader 5.1 works but the text selection tool will only highlight text within the visible part of the window, which can be restricting. It is possible to use 'clipboard watch' by copying the selected text but this is less convenient. It would be nice to get this working again in Adobe Reader, or maybe I'm doing something wrong!

Since posting I found 'PDF-XChange Viewer' which is free and seems to work perfectly!

Hi Dave,

I don't have an explanation yet, but TextAloud is not seeing mouse clicks / mouse movement from Adobe Reader ... I'm seeing exactly the same problem. I'll need to work with this a little more and see if I can figure out why its not working.
