IPA pronunciation

For tricky pronunciation it can be useful to copy and paste IPA expressions from digital or online dictionaries eg the 'Oxford dictionary of English' or Collins online:
https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dicti ... lish/conge

For example congé has an IPA expression kɒ̃nʒeɪ and to use this in TA for Ivona voices I have to generate the following in the 'respell' box:
<phoneme alphabet="ipa" ph=" kɒ̃nʒeɪ "></phoneme>

See Jim's helpful document: http://nextup.com/files/phonemeswithivona.pdf

It would be very helpful if TA could automatically generate <phoneme alphabet="ipa" ph=" "></phoneme>
so that the user can simply copy and paste the IPA expression without having to type the surrounding text every time.

I think that the option of using IPA expressions is a really valuable feature of TA, given their convenient and wide availability. I think this addition would be a significant improvement .... hope you can find time to implement it for Ivona and other voices.
