Basically, there are two methods to create mp3 files with blank tags in TextAloud:
I. Editing/removing MP3 Tags Manually
Editing or removing mp3 tags manually is as simple as renaming a file:
1. Right click an MP3 file
2. Select Properties
3. Under the Summary tab click Advanced
4. Edit (remove) Title, Artist, Lyrics, Genre, and any other fields you want to change
5. Click OK
II. Creating mp3 files with blank tags
If you do not use any essential non-Unicode programs, you can make TextAloud automatically create mp3 files with blank tags by using the following approach:
1. Click Start->Settings->Control panel
2. Double click Regional and Language Options
3. Under the Language tab:
(i) Click Details
(ii) Click Add
(iii) Choose Greek for additional input language from the list
(iv) Click OK
4. Under Advanced tab select Greek for use with non-Unicode programs
5. Click OK
6. Click Yes if prompted to ‘skip file copying and use the existing files’
7. Click Yes when prompted to Restart
8. Upon the restart, create a folder in which you want TextAloud to place MP3 files with blank tags.
9. Temporarily change language to Greek and rename the folder. (For example, left-click language bar icon on the taskbar and select Greek from the list of available languages, then rename the folder to TA-MR3, which will be displayed as TA-MP3 on the screen.)
MP3 files TextAloud creates in the folder named in Greek will have blank MP3 tags. Looks like possible to use other non-Latin languages instead of Greek. The approach is likely to work with Cyrillic and Asian languages as well. So if a Cyrillic or an Asian language is already activated on your PC, the only thing you would have to do is just selecting thas language for use with non-Unicode programs and renaming the folder (where you plan to save mp3 files to) in that language.
