Can't read in any .pdf files ??

Hello & Thanks,
I have TextAloud3 3.0.110
and it won't read in any .pdf files .
What do I have to do ?

I was hoping it would read .pdf ,
skip past pictures find Text
and read it .
Can it do this in TA3 or TA4 ?
