Old L&H SAPI4 voices do not show up in TextAloud

The older L&H voices found at the bottom section of
http://nextup.com/TextAloud/SpeechEngine/voices.html

are SAPI4 voices, an older Speech interface. In some cases these voices may not show up by default in TextAloud. Most often this would be because SAPI4 is not installed on your computer. To correct this, download and install
http://www.webaloud.com/files/Spchapi.exe

After this, exit TextAloud via File->Exit and restart it. Then go to from the TextAloud menu select Options->Voice and File Options and make sure SAPI Version is set for SAPI4 or Both, and you should then have voices showing up under Lernout and Hauspie folder if you've installed those voices.
