Can't burn CD with ATT voices?

Postby duke_of_hazard » Thu Jun 09, 2005 12:57 am

I just purchased the natural voices but always get this message when I try and burn a CD from the wav files:

file is not convertible to CD quality

I am using Adaptec Easy CD creator. It works when I use the default Mary voice. Do I need a new cd burning software or is there some other issue?[/i]

Some burning software can have trouble with the wave files that aren't 44khz. You can try
1) Creating MP3 instead of wave with TextAloud and see if it works better
2) Use a different burning software, like Windows Media Player on XP, or Acoustica at

3) In TextAloud, if you change SAPI Version to SAPI5 Only under Options->Voice and File Options, then you can go to File Options and change the bitrate for wave files to be created, to something that your burning software will like better.
