I really like the way that selecting 'mouse watch' allows one to highlight a block of text and then click 'speak' in the floating toolbar to listen. Unfortunately this does not seem to work with the Microsoft Edge browser. By selecting 'watch clipboard' I can use the proof reading window but it would be nice to have the mouse watch option if it is easy to fix .
I have just discovered that Edge has built in text-to speech which I am finding very useful. Just right click and select 'read aloud'.
Pros: Highlights spoken text; can easily skip to next paragraph; works for PDF files.
Cons: Only Microsoft voices; No pronunciation editor; no flexibility to adjust settings other than voice and speed.
