Gdocs and TextAloud

Hi I'm using textaloud in Gdocs via Chrome. HOwever, I can't seem to get it to work. I take it there is plugin for chrome how would I activate it?

Sorry for the late reply. We have plans to develop an extension for Chrome, but no estimate on availability yet.

Your only options now are to use the standard TextAloud clipboard monitoring feature or TextAloud system wide hot keys.

Okay that explains why I can't work it out :) It would be great option to have I look forward to it being completed.

THinking about this if I load Gdocs in Explorer could I listen to it then?

The browser toolbars for Internet Explorer (and Firefox) are designed to handle html pages. I really doubt they'll handle Google docs, you'll need to try and see if it works for you. I tried it here, both Firefox and IE, and neither toolbar could recognize the page content of my documents.

We'll need to look at this and see if we're able to add support.
