Hello again,
I've noticed that the Hotkey assigned to "Read Text Aloud" only reads highlighted text in external applications (e.g. Firefox) no matter what selection the user has on the "Speak" drop-down option.
Shouldn't the hotkey do what the user have selected (be it read highlighted text, read from cursor or the entire page)?
Is there any other way of assigning "Speak From Cursor" or "Speak entire page" to hotkeys????
Thanks...
"speak from cursor" hotkey??

Re: "speak from cursor" hotkey??
The hotkey to read text aloud works independently of the toolbar setting in Firefox. The hotkey can handle selected text only ... we'll see if we can implement a 'Read from cursor' hotkey in a future version of TextAloud.

Re: "speak from cursor" hotkey??
damn i just came to the forums to ask this question. Would be great to press a key to read from cursor for my Firefox web browser instead of having to move the mouse back up to the menu bar again. =/.
