Default voice

How do I set the default voice? I don't seem to see any way to accomplish this very basic task. Can someone enlighten me, please?

Never mind, I found the setting, buried way too deeply.

    Go to Tools —> Voice Options
    Expand the trees under Voice Preferences
    Select a voice
    Click the Set Default button.
My initial reaction to the UI for TextAloud 3 is it is not an improvement over 2, primarily a rearrangement with different graphics. So far I am not impressed.
