On the left side of the NextUp Talker window you'll see an area for setting up "Predefined Phrases". If this predefined phrases panel is not visible, you can enable it from the NextUp Talker View menu (View -> Show Predefined Phrases).
The phrases panel lets you set up commonly used phrases in advance, so you don't need to keep typing them. You can group your phrases in folders to make them convient to find when you need them.
One thing you can do with the predefined phrases is include strings in the text to be prompted for. You do this by using a % character before and after the word.
So for example, if you set up phrase like this:
Hello %name%. How are you.
Whenever you use this phrase, you will be prompted for a name to substitute.
Try right clicking in the predefined phrases area, and you'll see menu selections to add and edit phrases and folders.
Once you have your phrases set up, all you need to do is double click a phrase to use it, or use a keyboard shortcut assigned to the phrase.
