output to mic for use with skype

just had a crazy idea, I have been using skype for a while and love it, I was thinking if text aloud talker could output to the mic, than if I received a incoming phone call and I was maybe in class and couldn't talk, or didn't have my mic on me or even wanted to answer right away and didn't have my mic plugged in, than I could just use my headphones, or even notebook speakers, and listen and type my conversation, as I type it would input into to mic so the other party would hear it, and would be just like a normal phone conversation, what do you think? can this be done? how and could this even be a cool feature to add, just a idea. skype seems to be getting so popular maybe a plug in could even be made. :)

I guess you may find an answer to your question in Power Users discussion in the topic 'Looking for users to try NextUp Talker with Skype' posted by Jim Bretti on Thu Feb 01, 2006.
